BREAKOUT F
Localizing the Food Supply
The overlap of energy and food supply has become quite controversial in the uptake of ag land in the region for solar generation. How can we decentralize for resilience if land use restricts solutions that might otherwise be helpful? What other challenges and opportunities should be considered to ensure food supply meets demand in future resilience scenarios? What energy technologies and solutions will be in demand to insure efficient, cost effective refrigeration and transportation of food supply?
