BREAKOUT C
Resilient Communities
What does it take to create resilient communities and how long is the planning horizon? A week, a month or more? How do priority, resources, and strategies vary across different community types? How long can a community shelter support demand and what energy supply will it use to heat and cool, store and prepare food, and supply comfort to refugees from a storm or major catastrophic event? Can emergency use systems deployed be redirected to serve other needs of the local community when not in use for a disaster?
